Frequently Asked Questions

Do you make fondant or novelty cakes?

I specialise in buttercream cakes, so all of my cakes are finished with buttercream. While I may use fondant for certain cake decorations and cupcake toppers, I don’t create traditional novelty cakes that are fully covered in fondant or feature fondant figurines. Instead, I can work with your chosen theme to create a beautiful, bespoke celebration cake that reflects your style.

When should I book?

To avoid disappointment, I recommend booking your custom cake 4–6 weeks in advance where possible. If you have a date in mind, please get in touch to check my availability.

How should I store my cake?

All of my buttercream cakes should be stored in the fridge until needed for your celebration. For the best flavour and texture, allow your cake to come to room temperature before serving.

How should I transport my cake?

To keep your celebration cake safe during transport, place it on a flat surface in the boot or passenger footwell. Make sure the area is clear of any items that could damage the cake, and keep the air conditioning on throughout your journey. When you collect your cake, I’ll help you position it securely in your vehicle.

Do you make cakes for certain allergen requirements?

Unfortunately, I don’t currently make any cakes for different allergies or intolerances e.g gluten free or dairy free.

Do you require a deposit?

Yes, a 50% deposit is required to secure your cake order, with the remaining balance due on the day of collection.

How do I cancel my order?

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your cake booking. If you need to cancel, your deposit may be transferred to a new date, subject to availability.
